Nemours Chili Cookoff | First Annual Event Recap Film
The Nemours Chili Cookoff marked a major milestone for the Nemours Wildlife Foundation, bringing together community members, conservation advocates, and local supporters for the first annual chili cookoff event held on December 6, 2025, at Nemours Wildlife Foundation in the ACE Basin. Designed to celebrate land stewardship, sustainable agriculture, and community engagement, the event featured 13 teams cooking chili using the first-ever harvest of Nemours Pineywoods cattle beef. More than just a competition, the cookoff served as a powerful introduction to Nemours’ long-term conservation mission and its vision for responsible land use in the Lowcountry.
Produced by MadLad Films (Instagram | Facebook | YouTube), this cinematic 1–2 minute recap captures both the energy of the event and the deeper story behind it. The film blends candid interviews, atmospheric b-roll, and natural sound to create a narrative-driven recap that feels authentic and intentional. Throughout the video, Andrew Bridges, President of the Nemours Wildlife Foundation, shares insight into the organization’s goals, the purpose of the Pineywoods project, and how the chili cookoff connects food, land, and community in a meaningful way. From teams preparing their chili to guests enjoying the experience, every moment was filmed with a focus on storytelling rather than spectacle alone.
